Tips
Cutting
- To avoid runnability problems during printing, it is necessary to respect certain rules when cutting the initial format to the format of the run on the press.
- RESPECT THE DIRECTION OF THE FIBRES

- Printing: The fibre direction of the paper should be perpendicular to the printing direction

Printing
Check the direction of the paper before printing in order to print on the coated side.

High humidity and its effects on paper
Fibres absorb surplus humidity in the atmosphere and dilate contrary to the machine direction. This causes the paper to undulate. To avoid this problem, make sure the paper remains in its packaging until used and then protect it at each stage of production.

Relative atmospheric humidity 75%
Relative paper humidity 50%
Low humidity and its effects on paper
In an excessively dry atmosphere, existing humidity in the paper evaporates and the fibres contract contrary to the machine direction. This creates a hollowing effect, especially in the winter;
Relative atmospheric humidity 35%
Relative paper humidity 50%
